It's not recommended to make rules that automatically delete In Windows, shift/del would do this, but cannot find a solution on my mac. I feel that deleting and reinstalling the Apple Mail application should solve this problem. In Mail, go to Window в†’ Connection Doctor and let it verify your connections to see if all works there.
